Job Description

At our customer sites, the Project Manager assures a smooth and successful execution of Life Science projects, in close cooperation with the project team. The Project Manager coordinates activities such as project reporting and stakeholder management, and supports the implementation of product changes, technology transfer, or regulatory requirements.

To ensure completion of deliverables that are balanced for quality, timeliness and resources, the Project Manager:

  • Develops and presents project objectives, benefits, scope, timelines and resources

  • Facilitates team communications by maintaining and tracking cross-functional timelines, deliverables, and milestones including cross-project dependencies

  • Manages internal relations with project co-workers (commercial, engineering, regulatory, planning, etc)

  • Acts as the first contact for the project towards project co-workers and external stakeholders removes barriers for success and be available for support

  • Conducts contingency planning/scenario analyses to modify schedule to keep project on track

Applicant Profile

  • Bachelor, Master, PhD, MD degree in a pharmaceutical-related and/or life sciences degree

  • 3+ years of industry/business experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

  • A working knowledge of drug development is required

  • Experience in areas such as Clinical Trials Management, Data Management, Program and Project Management or Regulatory is a plus

  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) or degree is a plus
