Job Description

We are looking for a senior consultant specialized in various aspects of data management to strengthen our R&D Consulting team.

Many of our clients struggle with handling their data:

  • making it available from operational systems

  • managing master data

  • cleansing the data

  • making data available in a central warehouse

  • analyzing data and providing suitable reports for managerial and operational purposes.

The Data Management Consultant has a strong expertise in all these fields, and will help our clients to solve their data related issues, and guide them to a future state where trustworthy data is readily available for solid decision making.

As a consultant, the emphasis of the job will be on analyzing the current state of data (source systems, data availability, data quality, data governance, data relations…), identifying the pains and needs of the customer (data management, governance processes, data cleansing, analyzing and reporting), defining the roadmap for improvement, and finally helping during the implementation of the relevant improvement projects.

Applicant Profile

  • Master degree, preferably in (Life) Science, relevant experience with the Life Science industry

  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of data management:

  • Master Data Management

  • Data Governance

  • Data Warehouses, ETL processes, ERD diagrams

  • Reporting solutions

  • Data Visualization, e.g. Tableau software

  • Proven experience with Business Process Improvement techniques, process modeling (BPMN)

  • Excellent people (communication/presentation) & project management skills

  • Leadership & high potential to grow within our organization

  • Experience in working in multinational/multicultural organizations

  • Flexibility and excellent communication skills (English/Dutch), capable of maintaining a high level network
